Lessons 2-9: Conditions and Experiences
For lessons 2-8 you will use a variety of ICT resources to complete a source study, and answer the questions on the table provided by the teacher. You are then required to complete a diary entry before the end of every lesson. You
may use the Web 2.0 tool 'Storyjumper' to complete each diary entry, or handwrite each entry into your History workbook. The questions you are required to answer for each source study are:
- What type of document is this? - Is it a primary or secondary source? - Evaluate the quality of the source and its significance to Australian history. The sources you are required to use can be accessed from the link below.

Lessons 2-9:
Lesson 2: Activity 5)
The Landing, Weather and Terrain: Using the table provided by your teacher, answer the questions about the significance of the Landing at Gallipoli and the Weather and Terrain.
A list of page numbers and source numbers are provided for you.
You are then to choose 2 of these sources and complete the 3 source study questions.
Sources: 7.1, 8.5, 9.8 and 11.6. These can be found on pages 75, 76, 77 and 79 (Department of Veteran's Affairs, 2013).
Conclude the lesson by completing your first diary entry, noting how you felt after landing at Gallipoli.
